Whittlesea Netball Club

Fast, fierce, and united on and off the court.

About us

The Whittlesea Football Netball Club proudly launched its netball program at the very inception of the league’s netball competition. We started with just two teams in Divisions 2 and 3 – back when there were only three divisions in total. Fast forward to today, and the competition has grown to span over 15 sections, with WFNC growing right alongside it.

We’re now home to a dynamic and talented group of netballers, ranging from elite-level athletes – including a current Melbourne Vixen and several VNL players – to our rising local stars. We currently field four strong teams, competing from Division 11 all the way up to Division 1.

At WFNC, we believe the future lies in developing our local talent, while welcoming those from beyond who are keen to be part of our journey. We’re building a netball program that nurtures ability, encourages commitment, and strives for success both on and off the court.

Our program includes weekly Thursday night training sessions, held alongside the footballers, followed by shared club dinners and team announcements – fostering a true one-club culture.

The winter season runs from April through to September, aligning with the football season and creating a vibrant, united atmosphere throughout the club.

If you’re looking for a club that’s competitive, community-driven, and passionate about netball – Whittlesea is the place to be!
