Jimmy Atkins to finish up as Senior Coach at the Seasons end.

On the weekend the senior group into battle against Montmorency with the knowledge that their leader with be finishing up at the end of the year. Jimmy Atkins has been Senior Coach of the Club for the past 3 seasons, Assistant Coach in the nail-biting Premiership victory in 2015, a past player and member of the all conquering 2013 Premiership side, Jim is a Whittlesea stalwart. The Club recognises Jim’s commitment, hard work & dedication over the journey which has achieved team success’s in Division 1 not previously seen at the Club.

Jim’s leadership and obvious respect of the player group is what the club needs to achieve the desired results in the remainder of the 2018 season. This was evident on Saturday against Montmorency when the Eagles came away with a much needed and deserved win whilst playing a large chunk of the game undermanned.
Thanks Jim for a job well done and best of luck for the challenges that still lay ahead.
Cheers Legend
